Deep Rest session is 90 minutes of a deeply restorative body-mind practice designed to release chronic muscular tension, down-regulate the nervous system, and transition the body from habitual doing into deep states of healing rest. You are invited to step off the wheel of constant doing, thinking, and holding. This deeply restorative session is a sanctuary for your nervous system, intentionally blending the gentle release of Somatic Movement, the deep stillness of Restorative Yoga, and a closing Sound Relaxation.
Phase 1: Somatic Dissolve (25 minutes) We begin close to the earth, using slow, internal, and intuitive somatic movements. Rather than stretching, we focus on feeling. These gentle, repetitive ripples and unwinding movements communicate directly with your nervous system, melting away chronic tension, releasing holding patterns in the jaw, shoulders, and hips, and safely grounding your awareness back into your physical home.
Phase 2: Profound Rest (35 minutes) As your muscles soften, your body shifts out of "fight-or-flight" we step deeply into the healing realm of the parasympathetic nervous system we transitioning into effortless stillness, your body will be fully supported by props in a series of deeply comforting Restorative Yoga postures. Held for extended periods without tension or strain, these shapes act as a physical permission slip to let go.
Phase 4: The 30-Minute Sound Sanctuary: Your journey culminates in absolute stillness. Wrapped in comfort, you will drift into a 30-minute sound relaxation. The gentle, resonant vibrations of singing bowls, chimes, and soft acoustic frequencies will wash over you, quietening the mind's chatter, soothing your brainwaves into a dreamlike state, and sealing the deep restoration of your session.
Stress & Anxiety Relief: Effortlessly quiet your overactive mind and reduce the physical symptoms of stress by activating the parasympathetic nervous system.
Physical Healing & Recovery: Allows your muscles and connective tissues to release deep-seated tension, promoting faster recovery from physical activity.
Improved Sleep Quality: Teaches your body to relax deeply, leading to more restful, restorative sleep cycles.
Enhanced Mood & Clarity: Clears mental fog, stabilizes emotions, and promotes a sense of inner peace and calm.
Suitable for all, but especially benefits those struggling with stress related conditions, such us Anxiety, Depression, Tension and Overstimulation.
